However I often forget about this minor nuisance, tell my computer to shut down and leave to find the computer still running the next morning because 'CameraMonitor(VX3000)' is not responding. There is of course no unsaved data to be lost and if I click 'End Now' the process is ended and Windows proceeds to Shut Down. If you choose to end the program immediately, you will lose any unsaved data. To return to Windows and check the status of the program click Cancel. Instead the following error message is displayed: The camera is working fine, but the service running it (I assume it is the one that appears as vVX3000.exe in my task manager) is causing a slight irritation everytime I shut down my computer: It refuses to let itself be turned off by windows.
I am using Windows XP with Service Pack 3 installed. As Indicated in the title I am using a 'Microsoft LifeCam VX-3000' as my web cam.
